Is it safe?
Extensive research and clinical studies indicate that whitening teeth under the supervision of a dentist is safe. As with any tooth whitening product, Zoom! is not recommended for children under 13 years of age nor for pregnant or lactating women. Prior to commencing any whitening treatment, you should always have a thorough examination and address any dental problems found.

Do whitening toothpastes work?
While not as effective as dental office bleaching, whitening toothpastes can slightly improve the look of your smile. A problem to be aware of, though, is that many whitening toothpastes use harsh abrasives (like baking soda) to clean your teeth. Unfortunately, over long periods of repeated use, these harsh abrasives begin to erode tooth enamel making teeth appear yellow, causing them to become sensitive to cold or heat as well as increasing the risk of tooth decay.
